Creating a Custom Logo for a Blank Screen

Most multimedia projectors allow you to choose a black or blue background when the computer display is not projected. Several multimedia projectors allow you to transform a blank screen into an opportunity for impact. These projectors allow you to select a logo to appear as the on-screen image when the computer display is not projected, as do Epson multimedia projectors.

To store a user logo (using Epson multimedia projectors)

  1. Display the image (with the projector) you wish to use as a logo.

  2. Press the Menu button to open the Menu window.

  3. Select the User’s Logo menu option by pressing the Down Arrow button on the control panel. Press Enter.

  4. Choose Yes by pressing the Left Arrow button. Press Enter.

  5. Select Yes and press Enter.

  6. Note
You can select only a portion of the logo to display. Use the arrow buttons to define the selected area. Then press Enter.

  7. Select a Zoom rate using the arrow buttons. Press Enter.

  8. Select Yes to save this image.

  9. Press Enter.

  10. Note
Saving the logo may take a moment. Do not use the projector during this time.

  11. When the message "Saving the user logo is completed" appears on the screen, press Enter.

To assign the logo to the AV/Mute button (using Epson multimedia projectors)

  1. Press the Menu button to open the Menu window.

  2. Select the Setting menu option and press Enter.

  3. Select the Blank (A/Mute) option. Highlight Logo.

  4. Press the Menu button twice.

You can now press the AV/Mute button on the control panel to display the user logo.
