Selecting Templates in PowerPoint

To attach a template to an existing presentation

  1. Open a new or existing PowerPoint presentation.


  2. From the Format menu, select Apply Design Template. The Presentation Designs folder appears in the Apply Design dialog. The folder contains design templates. Design templates contain pre-designed formats and color schemes to give presentations a custom and professional look.


  3. Choose a presentation template and click Apply.

Note
You can also navigate to any folder to attach a template that is not included in the Presentation Designs folder. Or, if you need to search for other templates, use the Text or Property box to enter search criteria. Then, click Find Now.
