Inserting Digital Images in PowerPoint Presentations

Digital images come from a variety of sources. You can create digital images yourself using a digital camera, or you can use images that are already created. For FREE digital images, visit the Presenters Club Digital Image Gallery.

To insert a digital image in a presentation

  1. Open a PowerPoint presentation.


  2. Navigate to the slide in which you want to add the image.


  3. On the Insert menu, select Picture > From File.



  4. Select the desired image and click Insert


  5. Using the mouse, place the image where you want it to appear.


  6. Optional: If you want to edit the image (crop, recolor, add a border, etc.), select the image and right-click. Select Format Picture. The following dialog appears.



  7. Make changes as desired and click OK.
